The core activities of Italian Study of Ayurveda include study and research of the different academic aspects of Ayurvedic science as well as philosophy through dissemination outlets such as meetings, seminars and specialized training courses.
That said, the aim of our courses is to provide participants with the necessary understanding and comprehension of fundamental Ayurvedic principles. In the second phase, they are prepared and trained in different aspects of massage.
Here, there is a delineation between free courses and ECM (Educazione Continua in Medicina), translating to Continuing Medical Education, as accepted by the Italian Ministry of Health.
While free courses are open to the general public who would like to be introduced to the concept, philosophy and science of Ayurveda, the ECM modules are designed to offer specialized training for medical professionals willing to non-conventional forms of medicine in general and Ayurveda in particular.
The general methodology of teaching starts by introducing Ayurveda through the lens of ancient Vedic texts, moving through carefully planned content that place Ayurveda at the locus a continuous exchange between theory and modern practices.
